Release notes:

New stuff:

  1. Added hotkeys to teleporter system and to cargo page in piloting system.
  2. It is now possible to clear ship color at the Tuner NPC.
  3. Added new Mechanic NPC(spawns randomly on trader ships like the Tuner NPC), which can upgrade you ship's max hull to a certain limit. This means that if you capture a nice pirate ship, with low max HP, this NPC can get it's max HP back to MAX. Different Mechanics work with different ship classes. Also they have a limit to how many upgrades they can do after which they become useless. So you have to find more to get your ship to max HP.
  4. Server now updates(works) only when there's at least 1 player online. This means that Voids should not longer overpower the players on a public server with ease.
  5. Void carrier now collects all debris without cargo, to reduce debris lag in their sector.
  6. Ships can now have advanced tractor beams that can attract debris with items in them, this can be set via events. It is not yet something that players will have(maybe at a later point), just the possibility in the game engine.
  7. It is now possible to change the range of the ship's tractor beam using a modify ship event. (can also be set in the spawn ship event)
  8. It is now possible to add a ship AI with flag "permanent" to a ship, these AIs will not be removed even after ship is hacked and claimed.
  9. Added modify ship event parameter - charge/decharge capacitor
  10. Added for projectiles events that trigger on shield hit.
  11. It is now possible to use the /setspawn command with ship name instead of ID

Bug fixes:

  1. Fixed some void carrier sector related events.
  2. Reworked how projectiles data is being sent, now there shouldn't be any more desyncs and cases when it looks like projecetile hit, when it didn't. Also after missing the target, projectiles will travel another 5-15 cells and have another chance to hit or miss, if theres a ship on the new destination point.
  3. When you hack the piloting system it should now be impossible to install systems.
  4. There is now a limit to player names.
  5. Fixed pathing for singu so NPCs wouldn't get stuck outside anymore.
  6. Fixed respawn points change event. So after unlocking the open world part(or skipping to it), it should properly remove the old spawns at 12:31
  7. Fixed powergrid overload message position being wrong on different resollutions.
  8. Fixed the modify ship event decharge engines and hd that didn't actually work.
  9. Fixed AOE circle on client and server were different, now the same.

Implemented but not fully tested(I haven't tested it everywhere so feedback is welcome):

  1. Changed how repairs work, used to be no difference if one system had more max HP than another. Now there should be difference.
  2. On DF if crew is gone it should no longer jump away.
  3. NPCs now also warn the player that DF can autorepair without crew.
  4. Void ships on death should no longer drop broken nav modules in sectors with singularity or void carrier(the 2 main places where they would pile up).
  5. Handgun traders for humans now also warn you that they can not deal with you, if you are playing as an android.

Mac and Linux users will need to use java Temurin-17.0.4.1+1
